Nutrition added to your walk

Parks and trails, are excellent places to start a walking exercise regimen. Now, that I have given you a few ideas of suitable places that will encompass a successful mind, body exercise experience; It is now time to focus on your nutrition.

Why do many people fail at their fitness goal?
Well, many people fail at their fitness goals because they simply lack an understanding of what their diet should consist of.  Here is a brief description of what your diet should entail; when your primary form of exercise is walking.

Your diet needs to correspond to the type of calorie burning exercises you are doing. for example, choosing a flat surface for walking will not burn as many calories as appose to walking up inclines.

Fruits and vegetables should be your primary source of nutrition intake. Let's not forget about carbohydrates and please, do not shy too much from them. You will need them to store energy. The alternative to carbohydrates is, whole grain foods. Dairy should be included, as well as protein, and little to no sweets, and oils as possible.

The most important thing to remember is MODERATION. You should be consuming small meals that are about the size of the palm of your hand. Your plate should not look as full as the picture above. Small nutritional snacks should be consumed every two hours. Understanding your calorie intake and burning calories for the appropriate type of exercise, will guarantee anyones's  desired weight loss/weight maintance goal.
